What is Zakat Fitrah Fitrana in 2021
Muslims all over the world celebrate the month of Ramadan as fasting. In the month of Ramadan, all the Muslims keep fasting and after completing the month of Ramadan, they celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr. It is necessary for all the Muslims to pay Zakat Fitrah Fitrana before ending of fasting month.
Purpose of Zakat Fitrah Fitrana.
The Holy month of Ramadan is lesson to the Muslim, how the less-fortune people are living their lives. Before the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan, it is necessary for all the Muslim, to pay Zakat Fitrah Fitrana and distribute the Fitrah amount among the needy people around them.
The minimum amount of Zakat-ul-Fitr 2021.
The minimum Fitrana, Zakat-ul Fitr amount in Pakistan is Rs.140/- per individual of a family which can be calculated according to the currency of any country. It is pertinent to mention here that this is the minimum amount of Sadqa Fitr. People with good fortune, or in other words, rich people can give Zakat Fitrah according to their financial status.
The amount of Zakat-ul-Fitrah is required to be given before celebrating of Eid. The purpose of payment of Fitrana to needy persons before celebrating of Eid is that the needy and poor persons of the locality may also purchase the necessary items to celebrate the Eid-ul-Fitr with other people of the society.
The Schedule of Zakat Fitrana also called as Zakat-ul Fitr, in 2021 is as under:
The minimum amount of Fitrana 2021 is Rs140 with respect to wheat, in accordance with barley it is Rs320, with respect to price of dates and raisins it is Rs960 and 1,920 respectively.
The Fidya amount needed to be paid for the 30 days with respect to wheat price is Rs8,400; with respect to barley Rs19,200; with respect to dates Rs57,600; and with respect to raisins Rs115,200.
It is necessary for all the self-supporting Muslims to pay the Zakat-ul Fitr according to his financial status before Eid-ul-Fitr. Every Muslim should pay Zakat Fitr before the Eid as ordained by Allah Almighty and described by our Holy Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H). So, that all the Muslim enjoy Eidu-ul-Fitr irrespective to their status.
